| DOWSIL™ 3-8259 RF Silicone Foam Dark Grey is a 2-part, room-temperature fast-expanding dark grey liquid silicone foam engineered for formed-in-place gasketing (FIPG), environmental sealing, and thermal/acoustic insulation in electronic and industrial enclosures. Its "RF" (Reduced Flammability) formulation provides enhanced fire resistance for safety-critical applications. Upon 1:1 mixing, Part A and Part B rapidly react and expand at room temperature to form a low-density, flexible, medium-closed-cell silicone sponge elastomer. It delivers excellent compressibility, low compression set, and long-term thermal stability. The 2x20 L pail kit (20 L Part A + 20 L Part B) is designed for medium-to-large automated meter-mix dispensing equipment and robotic gasketing lines. |
