DOWSIL™ SILASTIC™ Q3-3636 Catalyst Special Black – 100 g
DOWSIL™ SILASTIC™ Q3-3636 Catalyst Special Black is a special black catalyst designed for use with SILASTIC™ Q3-3636 Adhesive Base. It supports the rapid room-temperature curing of the two-component silicone adhesive system.
The system is suitable for industrial bonding and sealing applications involving different substrates, including plastics, metals and glass. Once properly mixed and cured, it is designed to provide durable adhesion, low fogging and reliable performance at elevated operating temperatures.
Key features
- Special black catalyst for two-part silicone adhesive systems
- Supports fast curing at room temperature
- Suitable for bonding plastics, metals and glass
- Developed for applications requiring low fogging
- Supports durable and flexible adhesive performance
- Suitable for industrial production and assembly processes
Mixing ratio
When used with SILASTIC™ Q3-3636 Adhesive Base, the recommended mixing ratio is 100 parts Base to 14 parts Catalyst Special Black by weight. The approximate volumetric mixing ratio is 5.6:1.
The components must be measured accurately and mixed thoroughly to obtain proper curing and performance. Professional metering equipment and a suitable static mixer are recommended.
