DuPont™ MOLYKOTE® 55 O-Ring Grease is a special silicone-based sealing and lubricating grease formulated for rubber seals, elastomers, and O-rings. Designed for both static and dynamic metal-to-rubber contact surfaces, it maintains surface integrity and long-term performance.
Operating effectively between -65°C and +175°C, this grease is widely used in aerospace, automotive, and general industrial pneumatic systems. Its formulation, based on silicone oil, ester components, and lithium soap, ensures excellent oxidation stability, corrosion protection, and long-lasting lubrication.
MOLYKOTE® 55 contains no PTFE or PFAS, making it suitable for environmentally sensitive and health-critical applications. Pre-testing is recommended when applied with ABS, polycarbonate, or silicone-based elastomers.
