It cures at room temperature, forming a flexible, elastomeric protective film. With its high dielectric strength, it reduces the risk of short circuits and allows for visual inspection thanks to its transparency. Its low viscosity ensures complete coverage around components, offering micro-level protection.
It is easy to apply using a brush, spray, or dip method. Certified to UL 94 V-1 flame retardant standard, DOWSIL 3140 is widely used in automotive electronics, industrial control panels, power supplies, telecom systems, consumer electronics, defense, and aerospace applications.
