DuPont™ MOLYKOTE® 111 Compound (Valve & O-Ring Lubricant) 100 gr
Product Overview
MOLYKOTE® 111 Compound is a heavy-duty silicone grease designed for high-performance sealing and lubrication. Formulated with silicone oil and silica filler, it provides an excellent barrier against moisture and chemical degradation. Ideal for O-ring assemblies and control valves, it maintains its consistency in harsh environments involving steam, water, and various solvents.
Key Performance Benefits
• Operating Range: Reliable stability from -40°C to +200°C (-40°F to +392°F). • Chemical Resistance: Resistant to water, steam, alcohols, glycols, and diluted acids. • Electrical Insulation: Superior dielectric strength for environmental sealing of electrical connections. • Broad Compatibility: Safe for use with most plastics, rubbers, and elastomers. • Long-Term Barrier: Low volatility and excellent resistance to water washout.
Typical Applications
• Lubrication of control and pressure plug valves. • O-ring assembly and sealing in water softeners and faucets. • Sealing for laboratory equipment and non-food processing machinery. • Environmental protection for outdoor electrical switchgear and connectors.
