DOWSIL™ SYLGARD™ 184 Silicone Elastomer Curing Agent Clear is the Part B (curing agent / catalyst) component of the industry-standard 2-part optical grade SYLGARD™ 184 Silicone Elastomer system. Formulated to react with SYLGARD™ 184 Base at a standard 10:1 mix ratio by weight, it cures into a flexible, highly transparent, non-corrosive silicone rubber matrix. The 20.4 KG bulk pail packaging is designed for industrial supply, automated meter-mix processing, or custom formulation ratios in continuous manufacturing operations.

Usage Note: Mix thoroughly with SYLGARD™ 184 Base in a 10:1 ratio by weight. Vacuum de-airing (degassing) prior to pouring is recommended to eliminate trapped air bubbles. Avoid contact with sulfur, amines, organometallic compounds, or solder flux residues to prevent platinum catalyst cure inhibition.
