DOWSIL™ 1-2577 Conformal Coating is a transparent, single-component, solvent-free, room-temperature curing (RTV) silicone coating material developed for the protection of printed circuit boards (PCBs).
This high-performance coating protects electronic circuits from moisture, dust, salt spray, chemical vapors, temperature variations, and mechanical vibration, ensuring safe and long-lasting operation of the system. Its low viscosity allows it to be applied as a thin film and penetrate into detailed areas. It can be applied by brushing, dipping, or spraying.
After curing, it forms a flexible layer, which provides resistance to cracking under thermal expansion and mechanical stress. It is UL 94 V-0 flame-retardant certified and offers excellent electrical insulation. Thanks to these features, it is widely used in automotive electronics, aerospace applications, power modules, LED drivers, and telecommunication systems.
